"Open Garden Evening" at The Botanic Garden, Wollaton Hall NG8 2AE, Friday 1st June

posted 27 May 2018, 14:48 by Erica Thomson   [ updated 27 May 2018, 14:48 ]
Sunday opening
The Garden will be open from 6.00pm until 8.00pm and we will serve complimentary wine, soft drinks and nibbles. You will be able to have a leisurely wander around our garden in the company of your fellow hardy plant enthusiasts. We hope to also welcome members friends and families, other gardening groups and anyone interested in joining us for a celebration of plants and gardening. Please pass on this information to anyone you think will be interested.

Plants grown in the Garden and donated by members will be for sale and you can also stock up on our lovely range of greetings cards.  The proceeds of these popular sales go towards maintaining the Garden and supporting our Winter Programme of talks.

You'll find the Garden hidden away behind the Coaching Courtyard on the Hall side of the buildings. The main gates into the Garden are tucked into the corner adjoining the Coaching/Stable block on the Hall side. An even more hidden doorway can be entered underneath the “veranda” in the outer courtyard. It is possible to drive into the outer courtyard to drop off anyone in your party with mobility issues.

There is no charge for this event but you will need to pay for parking and the attendants are very diligent. Don’t get caught out!
We look forward to seeing you there.

Do come and join us - and please bring a friend!
